The season of fresh talents has already set in. Another production house is making its entry in Kollywood along with a fresh team. Producers Aravind Venugopal and Govind Padmasoorya have formed ‘The Imprints’ that is going to produce its first movie, ‘Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai’. This duo had already made impression in Kerala with their Malayalam movie ‘Adayalangal’ that won five Kerala State awards last year.

‘Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai’ has actor Nandaa as its hero along with Bombay-based Madhvi Singh and Tirtha as the lead heroines and Neeraj Sankar, John Kokken and Megh Varn as supporting actors. The shooting include an 80-day schedule starting from September 2009 and it will can the locales of Chennai, Pollachi, Kerala and Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

This movie introduces lots of new comers in terms of technicians. Telugu music director M. Karthik, lyricist Mu. Ramesh, cinematographer Subbaiah Kuttappa, Art director Purushotham Prem, Editor T S Jayachandran – all of these are stepping into the Tamil film industry for the first time; most of them who have worked with expertise from their respective fields. Saravana Rajan handles the Dance Choreography while T. Ramesh does Stunt Choreography.

We extent our best wishes to the entire cast and crew of ‘Jayakumarin Thiraikkathai’.
